Our Story
Over 20 years ago (way before Google!) Dalton Hall was given a giant C-band satellite dish. With determination, trial and error, and a little frustration, Dalton and his son Shawn were able to tune the dish and receive a station after many evenings of tinkering. That moment lit a fire within them that would never burn out.
In 1999, Shawn would go on to install satellite TV as it began to gain momentum. It didn't take long for the young tech-lover to work his way up and become General Manager, remaining involved with every aspect of the satellite business.
Shawn and Dalton have always been eager to learn about the newest technology and attend CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas every year. Shawn has attended Dish Network's conference every year for the past 12 years, as well as DirecTV's conference.
The father-son duo decided it was time to take a lifetime of tech knowledge and start a new adventure, so SmartTech was born!
